Multiple Vitamins with Multiple Benefits
Our body benefits from and craves the vitamins and nourishment we get from healthy and naturally enriched foods. Our skin is exactly the same. We can see and feel the difference in our muscles, tissues, joints, and even our complexion when we're doing it right and making good choices in our products that we eat and feed to our skin.
On the outside, we may not even realize it until those lines and spots start to reveal themselves. Every day stressors like the sun, our screens, and pollution can affect the strength, clarity, and suppleness of our skin. Every day we can make little adjustments to combat these natural elements that can cause premature aging.
We're so fortunate that we have a menagerie of vitamins right at our fingertips... fresh and ready to feed our skin immediately where and when we need it.
Every day, morning and night, our serum boosts can be used with full confidence as they're free of retinol, synthetic vitamins, water, and citrus or other sensitizing ingredients found in many other vitamin serums.
Let's jump in and look at what makes our vitamin serums so pure, so safe, and oh-so effective.
What the F?!
No swearing here... it's just vitamin talk! 😉 It's a vitamin that doesn't get enough attention, so we're bringing it to the forefront.
What benefit does Vitamin F have on our skin?
Vitamin F is loaded with both Omegas-3 and -6, which are essential fatty acids that help our outer layer of our complexion stay strong and have the ability to retain moisture. When you think of Vitamin F, think of it as a fat... a skin-loving, complexion-kissing healthy fat. It's more of a healthy fat than an actual vitamin, but it's referred to as Vitamin F. It helps our skin's outer layer retain moisture and remain strong.
Why We Love our Purely Rosehip Serum Boost: Our pure, unrefined, and cold pressed rosehip oil is in its purest and richest form, and without any added preservatives or fragrances to make it smell more "rosy." It comes from both the fruit and the seeds of the rosehip and contains Vitamins A, C, and F. It's touted as having more Vitamin C than citrus, but without the sensitivity that can come when using citrus on the skin in the sun. It has a calming effect on the skin as well. Skin that is sensitive with psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema, Rosacea, and even acne may benefit from the inflammation fighting benefits. Naturally occurring ceramides are a part of this fatty acid as well, and it's all without any synthetics or artificial additives. Lovely.
When We Love to Use It: We love to add just a pump, or even less, to our night serums after cleansing and exfoliating. Even just a drop or two adds these extra vitamins instantly to the complexion. It's more of a dry oil than a moisturizing oil, and just a little is all that it takes to make the difference.
Where to Find It: You can find our organic and premium rosehip oil in these treatments: Purely Rosehip Serum Boost, Hydrating Night Serum, Restoring Day Serum, Restoring Night Serum, Hydra-Rose Eye Serum, Lavish Serum Salve.
Vitamin A & C Benefits + Antioxidants + the Only Perfect Blend of Omegas-3, and -6 in Every Drop
Our Purely Cranberry Serum Boost is getting a lot of attention. We've been fans of cranberry seed oil in our treatments for over eight years. Recently it's been getting a lot of extra praise, and it's no wonder! It's because of its perfect ratio of those Omegas that make it a beloved antioxidant, UV fighting, helpful healing, and multi-vitamin oil for skin. 😘
The tiny seeds of the organic cranberries are cold pressed keeping the locked-in vitamins and antioxidants active and ready to be used to help fight sensitive skin, aging, and the elements.
Vitamins A, C, E, and K are naturally rich in our Purely Cranberry Serum Boost. It's because of the lovely ratio of the Omegas that it can penetrate easily into our skin to help age defy and protect from the environment and our screens. Even bacteria that can creep into our complexion may be blocked because of the Omegas.
Why We Love To Use our Purely Cranberry Serum Boost: It's a skin superfruit... it hydrates, it calms, it helps speed the natural healing of skin that has dealt with recent trauma or scarring, it can help to brighten the complexion, it can fight damage from the elements. It's a well-rounded friend in each drop.
When We Love to Use It: Because of its UV, blue light, overall moisture binding and environmental protective abilities, we love to boost it with our day serums. It's already found in our day and night serum formulas because of these advantages, and it's perfectly ok to add this as a little extra pop when and where your skin is asking for it.
Where to Find It: You can find our organic, cold pressed, and premium cranberry seed oil in these treatments: Purely Cranberry Serum Boost, Balancing Day Serum, Balancing Night Serum, Hydrating Day Serum, Hydrating Night Serum, Restoring Day Serum, Restoring Night Serum, Hydra-Rose Eye Serum, Honey Cream Mask with Active Manuka, Antioxidant Mask with Cranberry, Eye Makeup Remover, Lavish Serum Salve, Lip Gloss with Olive & Avocado.
Skin-Mimicking Antioxidants in a Light, Colorless, Odorless, Plant-Derived and Eco Oil
Not all oils are created, or cultivated, equally. Our rosehip, cranberry seed, and yes, our squalane are all high-performing, high quality, premium plant oils that can stand alone proudly and are ready to perform.
Even though this oil is already found in our skin, when adding it to our daily routines, it's important that it plays well with our skin, too. With every year that passes, our skin's cellular turnover slows, and our skin's natural oil production decreases. This is why when we're young, that soft and dewy, supple skin is so lovely! (Psst... the right exfoliation helps our skin stay soft and youthful, too!) It's age defying, skin strengthening, and it allows these treatments to penetrate fully.
Why We Love to Use our Purely Squalane Serum Boost: It's much like our own skin's healthy oil production, and it feels light and dry once applied. It prevents "TEWL" or trans epidermal water loss, which means it's an antioxidant that helps to lock in moisture. It's good for any skin condition. It mimics our own natural production of the same antioxidant, so it's good for anyone suffering from an over-active oily complexion, as well as a dry complexion. Bonus: if you're a makeup wearer, it makes a wonderful natural primer under makeup. Typical primers contain silicone that clogs pores that can lead to breakouts. We use zero plastics, polymers, or silicones in all of our hair, body, and face treatments. Zero! 👌
When do We Love to Use It: If you're a makeup wearer, many like to use it last after the day serum under an application of makeup. If not, using this morning or night is also advantageous as it's a one-and-done moisture-locking antioxidant that can brighten the complexion, fight the free radicals, and create an invisible barrier between our skin and the outside world.
Where to Find It: It's lovely, and it's found here in our EcoCert Approved and plant based Purely Squalane Serum Boost.
So, in a nutshell (or rather a seashell!) what would be the best serum boost for your complexion?
The answer? It depends on what you're looking for. Basically all of our Serum Boosts are gentle and favorable for nearly every skin condition as they all bring something different to our skin cells. However, we know that we're all unique, and some boosts are likely to be more suited to our current complexion than others.
Each Purely treatment is a singular ingredient to add as you see fit. You might find you like to use them all at once, or stagger their use during the week. This is typically how we use them:
Morning: Purely Cranberry Serum Boost. Applied after cleansing and a light application of botanical toning water and appropriate day serum. Allow to penetrate. If wearing makeup or if you want that extra barrier, it's optional to add a small amount of Purely Squalane Serum Boost under a makeup application, or if an extra moisture barrier is needed that day.
Evening: Purely Rosehip Serum Boost. Because rosehip isn't necessarily a moisturizing oil, we like to use it when we're at home and ready to rest. After cleansing, exfoliating, and light application of botanical toner and night serum is applied, just a small amount added as a last step is how we like to incorporate it when we want to add those extra vitamins to our skin.
The Purely Squalane Serum Boost can safely be used in conjunction with or instead of the other Purely treatments. Many mix and match according to the season and condition of skin. It's why we have the Purely Suite Discovery Kit to start with when discovering and experiencing them for the first time. It's a trial size to help you decide what makes the most sense for your complexion. 😌
A few minutes of facial care morning and night is better than trying to play catch up later. Remember, our serum boosts play well with all of our day and night serums. Because they are singular oils, they don't replace our curated blends of various humectants and oils in the enriched serums, but they definitely boost them with the vitamins and antioxidants beautifully.

The Fragility of The Big Picture 🌊 🌳 🌎
Sometimes it's the tiniest things that remind us of how fragile we all are.
We buy nothing premixed. We purchase each raw material, botanical, plant oil and element individually to make sure it is of the highest quality. We are fully transparent about each drop. 💧💧💧 We also make sure we source our ingredients from honest and respectable sources that practice sustainability methods and smart farming.
So... on a recent day while walking in the grass, I was reminded of just how everything is connected and how delicate our eco system is.
Looking down, we saw multiple little shadows hopping about. What?!?! Frogs! Teeny, tiny, itty, bitty, multiple... frogs! 🐸
If you didn't already know this, frogs are valuable eco indicators. They're called "indicator species" because they absorb water directly through their skin. Their fragile bodies don't do well with harmful chemicals and pesticides in our environment.
Yes, every purchase we make, and every purchase that WE make as a company and as formulators of our proprietary plant treatments, truly makes a difference... for all of us, large AND small (and tiny!).
We always say this to be true... every drop has the ability to affect us, our surroundings, our environment, and even our neighboring amphibians.
Thank you for making smart choices, and thanks so much for being here.
With ribits and hugs,
Below: Our little frog friend getting a lift from me.
🐸 Frog Joke:
Q. What do you say to a frog that needs a little pick-me-up?
A. Hop on!
