There are so many hours in each day, and taking just those two minutes morning and night start and end the day on an uplifting and healthy note.
"I regret taking such good care of my skin," said no one ever.
It's all about balance.
The delicate balance of pure ingredients in a treatment that offers a thorough and gentle cleanse is so much healthier for the longevity and structure of our skin. And yes... our cleansers are actually GOOD for your skin,
Compare our oil cleansers to a sudsing or milky cleanser that strips the skin's protective layer and takes away too much of our skin's natural microbiome. The choice is clear.
Too many cleansers are too harsh for our skin... especially for the delicate skin on our faces. A cleanser that is too stripping can cause our skin to get red and uneven. Then, because our skin is fighting to protect itself, it naturally pushes more oils to the surface which can cause clogged pores and breakouts.
Fun Fact: If you're already familiar with our cleansing oils, you may know that our Balancing Cleansing Oil with Thyme was the first formula I ever developed. I needed it for my very upset, sensitive with Rosacea, acne prone, and hormonal skin. And... this treatment earned the first big clean beauty award we received back in April of 2014. To date, we now have 32 clean beauty awards under our belt. So thankful!
Strong Winter weather is hard on our skin.
The great news is that plants are even stronger.
There are a few ways to cleanse with our oil cleansers, and you really can't mess it up. Remembering to remove it is the key factor. Here are some tips and ways our skin benefits from our cleansing oils.
Tip 1: You can use our cleansing oils like the very popular makeup remover wipes, but our cleansers don't leave residual synthetics and harmful chemicals on the skin. Dampen your face, and dampen a cotton pad, cotton round, or washcloth. Pump one to two pumps of your cleansing oil on the cotton or washcloth and start wiping away the impurities on the skin. You can rinse the applicator and repeat as necessary until your skin is clean and fresh.
Tip 2: Use your fingertips to massage the cleanser onto the complexion while increasing circulation. Massage onto wet or dry skin, then take your wet cotton pad or washcloth to remove all traces of cleanser. Rinse and repeat if necessary. And don't worry... even though your skin may feel too soft to be clean, it really is!
Tip 3: This might be our favorite way to use the cleansing oils... it's with our gua sha facial massage tool. Cleansing is a way to remove impurities and toxins from the skin, and adding the gua sha tool over the cleansing oil helps the tool glide over the skin while offering these benefits: ✨ it relieves facial tension ✨ it minimizes smile lines and fine lines ✨ it reduces inflammation and puffiness ✨ it increases blood circulation ✨ and it stimulates collagen production. All this happens along with a complete cleanse. Perfect.
Cleansing oils leave the skin completely clean... there is no need for a second cleanser when this is done properly. The skin is free of synthetics and dirt, and the pores are cleaned out. Most of all, the skin feels soft and not tight when finished. Every ingredient in our cleansers is beneficial, which is another bonus for our healthy skin.
In all of our facial cleansers and treatments, there is 0% water, 0% synthetic preservatives, and 0% harsh chemicals... just 100% premium and performing plant based ingredients. Period.

No need to cleanse in the morning? It's true, we say this often, and if your skin is already pretty comfortable without breakouts or issues, it's optional to cleanse in the morning. Brittle Lashes and Thinning Brows
This multi-purpose eye makeup remover is really a two-fold treatment.
Going to bed with any eye makeup on, either a shadow, mascara, or pencil, can wreak havoc on our skin while we sleep and cause the delicate skin to prematurely wrinkle or weaken. It can also be harmful to our lashes.
Just a few minutes with this dual-fold treatment will not only remove that makeup, but it'll also do your lashes and brows some good!
A small amount massaged gently on the eye and brow areas dissolves eye makeup and mascara. Then it's our job to whisk it all away... a wet washcloth or wet cotton ball will do the trick.
Tip: Some of us like to add a little bit of this eye makeup remover to our lashes and brows after cleansing as a type of nourishment while we sleep. It keeps our lashes soft and helps them to maintain their strength which can help avoid breaking and thinning.
Know that we love our plant oils and how they feed and nourish our skin, and this is an oil based eye makeup remover as well. If you're a wearer of water proof mascara, you may need something harsher to remove all traces of that mascara.
