Q. What's new with our botanical toners? A. Natural skin-loving, softening, and protecting probiotics! We've changed nothing else in our beloved toners, but we felt the need to add this beneficial ingredient.
Why? Because UV rays, pollution, our phone and computer screens, and even everyday air can cause oxidation and free radical damage on the skin. By adding this naturally derived peptide from pomegranates, it offers probiotic benefits to our skin. The natural probiotics help to calm the overall environment on the skin's complexion and acts like a safety shield to external damage. These benefits help reduce inflammation, flare-ups, and they help to prevent premature aging.

Waters that are steam-distilled from fruit and flowers are clean, pure, and a perfect third step to blend with serums after cleansing and exfoliating. Our toning waters are a light concentration of pure floral and fruit waters, and probiotic peptides that work beautifully with serums or on their own. They are blended to tone, freshen, and brighten.
Our Restoring Toning Water blend is perfect for skin which needs consistent or extra hydration or needs special attention due to sensitivity, inflammation, Rosacea, or irritation. It's also wonderful for already perfect skin that only needs gentle maintenance. Carefully extracted waters from the Immortelle plant, calendula flowers, and lavender help to speed the healing of the skin’s outer layer and are beneficial in healing bruises, wounds, and scars. It's very gentle in nature, and the use of these botanicals dates back to ancient times. It's also useful in case of sunburn or insect bites, eczema and dermatitis. It's soothing and softening for all skin conditions when used alone or with your serum.
Each of our toning waters can be used for a variety of skin conditions, and they have similar benefits as essential oils but are much less concentrated. They are full of all the whole plant materials and beneficial components each flower or fruit has to offer and can be used confidently in a variety of ways where an essential oil may be too strong. The steaming process is done in small, precise batches to ensure that the essence of the plant is in every drop. Each aroma can vary - most are subtle and mild, and others can be bright and lively just like the flower or fruit they came from.

After cleansing and exfoliating, mist one or two pumps on hands and press on to face. Before applying your serum, add a mist or two on your hands, add a few drops of your serum, blend, and press on to your face.
If your face is properly cleansed each night, in the morning there is usually no need to re-cleanse, just moisten face, blend toning water with serum, and press on to face.

Q. Can I use my toning water on a cotton ball to remove makeup?
A. Yes and no. Yes, it will remove most makeup and leave skin feeling fresh and clean, but no, it will not provide a deep cleaning to remove all traces of makeup and dirt from the day. In a pinch, it feels good to cleanse this way, but we recommend using your cleansing oil for the best kind of clean.
Q. Can I use toning water to set my makeup?
A. Yes, it provides a great, natural way to set any kind of mineral makeup or powder. Feel free to mist throughout the day, lightly, without disturbing your application.
