We all love the light, penetrating, effectiveness of our serums and how they revitalize our skin to help it be its best without the use of heavy waxes or surface residue. Qēt Botanicals delivers one uniquely special formulation which not only combines the finest of our serums, but also adds a little extra comfort in a slightly heavier application. While looking for a highly prized butter that met our stringent requirements for quality freshness, sustainability and therapeutic standards, it was a perfect solution when we began working with pure shea butter.
Our grade A, organic, unrefined shea butter is the first ingredient in our serum salve, and it is brimming with Vitamins A, D, and E, as well as catechins, or plant antioxidants, which are also found in green tea.
Shea is a complexion lover and its use targets fine lines, wrinkles, and areas needing repair. It helps strengthen skin, is deeply moisturizing, offers nourishment and protection in hot and cold climates, and revitalizes the surface without leaving a greasy residue or clogging pores. Chapped hands, elbows, and heels will also find this wonder salve to be effective. After spending too much time in the sun, or suffering from a rash or peeling, your skin will drink up the nutrition from the serum salve.
Just the right formulation of nutrient-dense plant oils from rosehip seeds, argan nuts, cranberries, evening primrose, and added Matcha green tea are a true skin sensation. The clinical grade essential floral oils of lavender, jasmine, chamomile, frankincense, carrot, and wild raspberry treat your skin and will allow your complexion to be glowing before you know it. There are no added waxes or thickeners which can pollute the pores or feel heavy on the skin. We found no need to whip it full of air or add anything else to stretch it out. Each ingredient speaks loudly with what it does for your skin, and all are carefully married for a purpose.
It’s highly concentrated, and a little is all you need for that extra boost of moisture and protection when and where you need it.
This little wonder salve will last you longer than you think. We could've placed it into a much smaller jar, but we want you to feel free to use it often, and use it lavishly.
To use it daily for extra protection and hydration, retrieve a small amount with the back of a clean fingernail or our bamboo scoop, rub between fingertips to melt, and apply where desired.
To use as a weekly mask, follow the same application process and apply it liberally over cleansed and exfoliated skin on the face, neck, and chest. Use a clean finger or our bamboo scoop each time you need more salve. Rest for ten to fifteen minutes and let the ingredients indulge your skin. After, follow with a warm washcloth steam. Removing the excess with a warm washcloth is recommended to help steam the benefits into the skin.
It can also be used as a lavish cleanser. Apply a small amount in circular motions, massaging it on any areas that need extra attention, and follow with a warm washcloth steam. Feel free to add your exfoliant before steaming it away.
Apply to hands as the ultra hand treatment. Massage into cuticles, knuckles, share any extra with elbows, lips, and neck.
Place a dab on hair ends as a leave-in conditioner, to tame ends, and to add a gentle sheen.
Many cherish this unique, multi-use salve. You decide how best to use it and which areas can benefit - they will all love you for it.
To keep the smoothest consistency, store your salve in moderate temperatures and below 83 degrees.

For best results, store your salve in moderate temperatures. If the salve is in high temperature and it liquefies, allow it to return to room temperature before using. Finding grains (which will melt with contact) in the salve from the shea butter can be normal after it liquefies and returns to its solid state. To avoid the shea butter grains, once its melted, refrigerate it to quickly cool it and bring it to its solid state. A fast cooling prevents the lipids in the shea butter to bind together and form the grains.
Q. Can I use the salve as a hair conditioner?
A. Yes, and all of the ingredients are beneficial to both hair and skin. This is a product that offers many different uses and is handy for traveling and times when you're limited to what you can take with you.
Q. Sometimes my salve feels like it has little grains in it. Is it still ok?
A. Yes, because we use the organic shea butter it in its natural state and don't add smoothing agents, fillers, or manipulate it to alter it, it can develop little shea nibs in high or low temperature swings. However, all of the benefits remain the same. If this happens, the little shea nibs will melt quickly in warm fingers before you apply it. It's best to keep your serum salve in moderate temperatures if you want to avoid the shea nibs.
