~ A Personal Note from Me to You ~ 

Thanksgiving may very well be the favorite holiday for many. Yes, we know that it might be a time to get a jump on the holiday gift giving, but it's really about spending time with family and enjoying time together. 

This time of year makes us extra thankful. I'm thankful about the Qēt family that we have... they're the best! I'm thankful about our grown kids and my husband. I'm thankful for my siblings, extended families, and our friends. And even though they've been long gone, I'm thankful for my parents... and I can't help but think about the changes that they would've seen if they were still here. 

My parents were born in 1927. Yes... it was long ago, and it was a time when plastic was still a baby. Plastic wasn't even widely used until the 1930s.

It was also time before the thousands of chemicals and lab produced synthetics were invented in our country. Now they're commonly added into the many hair, body, and skin-care items that fill the shelves out on the market today.  

With the thousands of additives that have been invented since the time my parents were alive, I can only imagine what may be invented and added to our care products in the next generation, and in our kids' lifetimes.  

After learning about, reading, and even personally experiencing the many side effects that can come from filling our body and skin with various synthetics, it's an important reason, and just one of the reasons, that we go to the lengths of quality and care that we pour into our treatments.

And thank YOU... we're also thankful for you! Thank you for being here, for researching your ingredients and reaching for clean ingredients.

Below is a photo of my parents, Hazel and Danny. It was taken sometime in the 1940s when they were still in high school and dating. They were sitting on the front lawn of the high school in Wisconsin where they went to high school. It's also where my siblings and I went to high school. 

It looks as though my Dad stopped playing catch with the guy in the back of the photo to have some time with his future bride, my Mom. The friend is impatiently waiting in the background with his hands on his hips. Funny!

Young love... it lasted the rest of their years together. Blessed.

Below and on the left... my skin in my early 40s and the reason that I developed Qēt Botanicals in the first place.
