Every time we make a batch of our skin or hair treatments in our lab, it's an aromatherapy experience for us and one that sprinkles happy bliss on any mood in the building because of the lingering scents that come from our raw materials. If you haven't already heard, conventional perfumes are one of the most toxic things we can apply on our bodies - made up of hundreds of synthetic chemicals to imitate the fresh smell of beautiful botanicals.
Yes, we're a little obsessed with fun, organic freshness, and we love botanicals ~ their seeds, bark, sap, and oils feed and nurture our skin. We surround ourselves with precious botanicals every day while making our treatments. Sometimes being surrounded by them just isn't enough. Now we're sharing with you a true, natural, unaltered botanical experience. Natural aromas have the ability to improve your mood, heighten your awareness, perk up an afternoon, and even seduce that special someone in your private circle.
Your sense of smell is the only sense that has a direct connection to the brain. With just an inhale, a scent has the ability to transport you back to a moment in time. It makes that moment almost tangible. Science tries hard to duplicate the true essence of the flower but, unfortunately, it's done with synthetic chemicals and fillers. The fragrance industry has over 3,000 chemicals at its fingertips that they are allowed to use in each bottle of perfume. Fragrance is the number one allergen in many conventional treatments. All of our treatments are synthetic free and true to the plant they came from. It only makes sense to offer the same quality and safe ingredients in a unique personal aroma, without anything harmful.

This prologue is taken from the book "The Reason for Flowers. Their History, Culture, Biology, and How they Change our Lives" by Stephen Buchmann. A friend has this book and when I saw it and read its prologue, it struck a chord as this statement nods to the root of enticing nature to share its gifts with us - in the form of natural aromas.
